Carroll Rhodes

Carroll C. Rhodes, 86, a lifelong resident of Houma, died a little after midnight on Friday, October 28, 2011. Visitation will be held Monday, October 31, 2011 from 9:00am to funeral time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, wife, Germaine Fontenot Rhodes, children, Stanton and his wife Kristine Cesner Rhodes and Lauren Rhodes Stidham and her husband, Terry Stidham; and three grandchildren, Bradley Stidham and wife Lynsey, Claire Stidham and Jeffery Stidham. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Calvin and Mary LaLa Rhodes; five brothers, Gordon, Percy, Raymond, Riley and Calvin Rhodes and one grandson, Nicholas Stidham. Carroll was the owner of Houma Realty, Inc.,after having owned the Commercial Restaurant for many years. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral . The family would like to thank all the caregivers who were so kind, namely, Chateau Terrebonne, TGMC and his sitters, Dr. William St. Martin and his staff.
