Nell Theresa Picou Robert, 67, died Wednesday, October 19, 2011. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held Thursday, October 20, 2011, 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Friday, October 21, 2011, 9:00 AM until service time at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on at 11:00 AM at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Grandchildren: Lindsey Collins Davis and husband Brody of Raceland, LA
Cooper M. Robert, Seth M. Moore, Carter M. Robert and Drake A. Tassin.
Nieces and Nephews: Anita Thibodaux, Tina Landry, Robert “Bobby” Picou, Jr., Billy Picou, Ryan Hebert and Kade Hebert and eight great nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
Nell was a dedicated volunteer for the American Cancer Society including Relay for Life and Camp Blue Bird for cancer survivors. She was a member of the Nostros Support Group at Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center. The family thanks Dr. Ray Cinner, Dr. Robert Gamble, Dr. Raul Doria, Dr. Harry McGaw, Dr. June Jones, Dr. Gregore Maidoh, Dr. Robert Alexander and Dr. Liz McBurney of the LSU School of Medicine. The family would also like to thank the staff of Three North at TGMC, HOSPICE of South Louisiana, Amedisys Home Health Services, and Bayou Home Care Agency. The family appreciates your professional care and support during this trying time.
Nell was a retired R.N. from TGMC with over 35 years of service.
She was a past member of the ladies Carnival Club Krewe of Aphrodite “Gazoobies”.
