Ricky "Rick" John Pinell, 60, died Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 1:22 PM. He was a native and resident of Montegut, LA. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by his, Wife of 39 years, Mitzi Crochet Pinell; Mother, Celina Guidry Pinell and companion James "Jim" Babin; In-Laws, Curtis "CJ" and Rosalie Crochet; Sons, Chad Michael Pinell and wife Becky O. Pinell, Cody John Pinell and wife Layla B. Pinell; 4 Grandchildren, Katie, Colby, Addie, and Faith Pinell; Siblings, Luby P. Pinell, Sr, Betty A. Prosperie and husband Carl, Ernie A. Pinell and wife Marlene, and Belinda P. Prosperie and husband Tony. He was preceded in death by his, Father, Luby Pinell; Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aubin Pinell and Mr. and Mrs. Julian Guidry; and Brother, Mickey Pinell. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He worked for Main Iron Works for 10 years and Acadian Shipyard for 32 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but most of all he was a loving husband, dad, paw-paw and friend to all.
