Ara Margeurite Pizzolatto, 89, died Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 12:35 PM. She was a native of Berwick, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her, Spouse: Her husband of 70 years Anthony Pizzolatto of Houma LA; Daughters: Mary Lou Pizzolatto, Antionette "Toni" Guidry and husband R.P. "Dopey" Guidry of Houma, and Cynthia "Cindy" Templet and late husband Michael J. Templet of Houma; Grandchildren: Paul A. Guidry, Peter J. Guidry, Christopher "Chris" Gaudet and wife Melanie Fabre Gaudet, Brian A. Gaudet and wife Holly Oncale Gaudet all of Houma LA; Great Grandchildren: Braden Anthony Gaudet, Ava Claire Gaudet and Sophia Bella Gaudet; Sisters: Jeanette Martin of Pontchaloula LA and Thelma James of Houma LA. She was preceded in death by her, Parents: Uylessa Plessala and Cynthia Chauvin Plessala; Sisters: Dolores Frickem, Ophilia Fromenthal and Irma Daigle; Brothers: Jack Plessala and Reuben F. Plessala. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was a member of V.F.W. Auxiliary #3700, Women of the Year in 1975, Saint Gregory's Ladies Altar Society, and was her husband's book keeper for A & J Plumbing. She loved taking care of her grandchildren and great grandson.
