Warren “Bud” Lewis Gaiennie, 82, died Monday, October 10, 2011.
He was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 9:00 AM until Service time at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 14, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Annunziata Catholic Church with burial following at Magnolia Cemetery.
He is survived by his
Wife of 56 years, Peggy;
Children, Warren, Jr. and wife Cathy, Patricia and her late husband Curtis, Denise and husband Vance, Diane and husband Robert and Charles, III and wife Anne;
12 Grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren;
Sister, Marilyn Garon and husband Joseph; and numerous nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his,
Parents, Charles Gaiennie, Sr. and Emma Waggaman Gaiennie;
Son, William;
Siblings, Charles Gaiennie, Jr., Audrey Bitterman, Yvonne Gaiennie, Dorothy Simon, Marjorie Hebert; and Grandson, Armand Luke Frickey.
He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
He was a devoted family man and was viewed as father by many. His devotion and love for his wife Peggy was legendary and it was her hand that he held at the last. He was a military veteran and patriot and a man of deep faith and moral conviction and a true friend to many.
