George Gray

George “Bob” R. Gray, 70, died Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 12:35 AM. He was a native of Utica, IL and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. He is survived by his, Daughter, Tiffany Lynn Gray and companion Devin Gregoire Step daughters, Nell Gregoire and companion Joseph Parfait, Paula Gregoire and wife Hope Gregoire and Amanda Gregoire; Step sons, Edward Gregoire and Kevin Verdin and wife Lauren; Grandchildren, Vince, Tony, Stephanie, Draven, Robbin, Curtis, Rose and Taylor; Great grandchildren, Raelynn, Jaylynn, Nayla, Kayleb, Ethan, Destry and Kaylee; and lifelong sweetheart, Cinda Blanchard. He was preceded in death by his, Companion, Yvonne Halliwell Verdin; Great grandchildren, Jansen Gregoire and Breanna Rose; Mother in law, Rose Dion. He was an ice cream vender for 25 years. He served in the US Navy. He loved traveling, gambling and spending time with family. He was a beloved father who loved his baby girl (spoiled rotten) till the very end.
