Mary Starliper

Mary Chatagnier Starliper, 72, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at 7:15 AM. She was a native of Gray, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. With a private burial at Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery. She is survived by her, Son, Art Starliper and wife Theresa; grandchildren, Noelle and Max; Brother, Leroy Chatagnier and Sisters, Jeannie Keller, Audrey Benoit and Catherine Popay and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her, Husband, Arthur W. Starliper; Parents, Maurice Chatagnier and Alice Marie Perkins Chatagnier Brothers, Hampton, Roland, Floyd, Dave, Morris, Junius and Lawrence Chatagnier; Sister, Anna Mae Allen. She retired from AT&T Telecommunications after 38 years of service. Mary was a loving mother, devoted grandmother, wonderful friend and incredible cook.
