Emery Joseph Dupre, 72, died Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 8:10 PM. He was a native of Montegut, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 9:00 AM until service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery He is survived by his, wife, Shirley Voisin Dupre, daughter, Sharon Dupre DeHart and husband Jody, Houma, LA, grandchild, Andrea DeHart Gregoire and husband Gary, great grandchild, Easton D. Trosclair, sister, Mary Lee Trahan Dupre. He was preceded in death by his, parents, Andre' Dupre and Clara Rodrigue Dupre Trahan, brothers, Lenias, Alcee, Paul "Tit", Leroy and Freddie Dupre, sisters, Emily and Cynthia Dupre, Dorina Jervis, Delma LeBoeuf Smith and Agnes Rodrigue. He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a retired truck driver for Calongne, Inc. He was a past member of the Dulac Bassmasters.
