Visitation will be from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home. A private burial will be held by the family at a later date. He is survived by his, Wife, June Cancienne Richard Daughter, Julie and husband Robert Foret 4 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: His parents, Emma and Nelson Richard 2 Sisters and 3 Brothers. He was a veteran of World War II. He was retired from South Central Bell/AT & T. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial Masses to be made in the name of Willie Richard.
