Delores Rhodes DeRoche, 82, died Monday, September 26, 2011 at 4:12 AM.
She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resident of Houma, LA.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.
Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 10:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.
Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 1:30 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home.

She is survived by her sons, Clarence "C.J." DeRoche, Jr., Barry J. DeRoche and wife Jackie Malbrough DeRoche, Prentiss "Sonny" Freeman, III and wife Debbie Fryery Freeman;
daughters, Bonnie DeRoche Smith and husband Ordis "Buddy" Smith, III, Dawn DeRoche Henry and husband David Henry, Susan Freeman Vowell and husband Wayne Vowell;
grandchildren, Bradley DeRoche and wife Kacey, Brett DeRoche, Barry M. DeRoche, Bryant DeRoche, Brady DeRoche, Heidi Smith Acosta and husband Marc, Heather Smith, Crystal Lucas Pellegrin and husband Jeremiah, Shaun Lucas, Tricia Freeman, Prentiss "Boo" Freeman, IV, Jody Vowell and wife Angie, Scotty Vowell and wife Kellie, Kevin Vowell, Perry Vowell, Scottie Henry and wife Kelly, and Brandon Henry;

She was preceded in death by her,
husband, Clarence “Speedy” DeRoche, Sr.
parents, Irwin Rhodes and Lillian Morel Rhodes.
She was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
She was a retired Realtor and homemaker.
She was a retired member of the Bayou Board of Realtors. Dee will always be remembered for her loving, caring and generous nature. Her home was open to everyone and she always had a home cooked meal for all. She was a great sales person.
Her passion was her family and pets whom she loved dearly.
She leaves behind a strong bond with the people she enjoyed and loved.
