Doris Mullis Trahan, 73, died Sunday, September 25, 2011. She was a native of Charlotte, NC and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 9:00 AM until service time at First Baptist Church of Houma. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Houma. Burial will follow at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2 She is survived by her, husband, Raymond Trahan, Houma, LA daughters, Angel Gustin and husband Jody, Gray, LA, Brenda Kern and husband Byron, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Jana Bourgeois and husband Chris, Chad Scurlock, Haley Kern and Elise Kern, great grandchildren, Maddison Scurlock and Christian Bourgeois, five brothers and two sisters, She was preceded in death by her, parents, Watson Hunter Mullis and Bertha Allen Mullis, seven brothers and two sisters. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Houma. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Woodmen of the World. The family would like to thank St. Catherine’s Hopsice and the Oaks of Houma.
