Philton Eloi Billiot, 66, died Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 6:59 PM. He was a native of Theriot, LA and resident of Theriot, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Saturday, September 24, 2011 from 8:00 AM until Service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Entombment: St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery He is survived by his, Wife of 45 years, Judith "Judy" Molaison Billiot and five children; John Allen Billiot and wife Michelle of Houma; Angela Lowrey and husband Matt of Benton, AR; Buffy Billiot of Theriot; Jody Billiot of Houma; and Marie Roddy and husband Shawn of Schriever; two Grandchildren: Madison and Mason Lowrey; one brother, John Gary Billiot; four sisters: Mrs. Raymond (Betty Lou) Rivet; Mrs. Johnny (Genevieve) Smith; Mrs. Timmy (Elaine) Liner; Mrs. Lawrence (Caroline) Rel; and numerous nephews and nieces. Special to him also were Angela Marmande and Tim Thibodeaux; and his cousin Charles Billiot and his wife Sherry and their family. He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Sylvester and Lillian Billiot and his younger brother Louis Jerry Billiot. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. He was an inland and offshore pipeline welder and owned Philton Billiot Welding Service. His favorite pastimes were hunting deer and duck, and fishing. He watched as many old westerns as he could find on TV and loved listening and dancing to French and Cajun music. Philton was a member of the Knights of Columbus council #8779.
