Morris “Moe” Fanguy Jr., 53, died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 6:40 PM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home and on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Louis Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Louis Catholic Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Morris was survived by his wife Maureen Fanguy of Houma LA, two sons, Maurice Fanguy III and wife Ashley of Thibodaux LA and Joshua Fanguy and Fiance' Teri Shaver of Houma LA, two daughters, Sara Lee Fanguy and Fiance' Hank Savin of Houma LA and Kimie Fanguy of Houma LA, four grandchildren, Claudia Fanguy, Taylor Fanguy, Tyla Granier, and Gabrielle Fanguy, four sisters, Darlene Brignac and husband Mitch of Schriever LA, Dina Fanguy Stewart of Houma LA, Donna Fanguy of Houma LA, and Dawn Fanguy of Houma LA, uncles and aunts Russell Fanguy and wife Irene of Houma LA, Margaret Taylor and husband Dean of Humbolt TN, and Theresa Duplantis and husband Toby of Houma LA. He was preceeded in death by his father Morris Anthony Fanguy Sr. He was a member and parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church. He was the self employed at Moe's Electric Service. He was member of Knights of Columbus of Bayou Blue. He would give the shirt off his back to help anybody in any way he could. He was a loving father and devoted grandfather to his grandchildren. The family would like to thank the nursing staff on 3 North of Terrebonne General Medical Center. They would also like to thank the teams of Haydel Memorial Hospice and Terrebonne Home Care for going above and beyond in caring for the entire family.
