Ellis Peter Lottinger Jr.

Ellis Peter Lottinger Jr., 89, a native and resident of Houma, died at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Claire Marie Whitney Lottinger of Houma; five sons, Eric Lottinger of Mandeville, Kenton Lottinger of Kenner, Michael Lottinger, James Lottinger and Timothy Lottinger of Houma; two daughters, Claire L. Dowing of New Orleans and Gina Anthon of Hammond; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Peter Lottinger Sr. and Lydia Boudreaux Lottinger; and two sisters, Gertrude Saadi and Martha LaRose. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to your favorite charity.
