John Bergeron, Sr.

John Wayne Bergeron, Sr., “Wayne”, 63, was called home to be with our LORD, September 1, 2011, while surrounded by his children. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church with burial in Bayou Black Cemetery. He leaves behind, with heavy hearts, five children and eleven grandchildren. Melissa Whatley and husband Ty and daughters, Brittany, Breanna and Kaitie; John Wayne Bergeron, Jr., wife Stephanie and sons Josheua and Jordan; Angela Antill and sons Chad Fournier, Jr., and Reece Antill; Chad Bergeron, wife Nicole and daughters Morgan and Madison; Christopher Bergeron, wife Lisa and sons Caleb and Cade. Five sisters, Juanita “Pie” Lajaune, Reba Burnet, Claire Hatch, Robin Garnet and MaryBeth Flemings. Three brothers, Dwight, Perry and Ronald Bergeron and many nieces and nephews. He is reunited in heaven with his mother, Rosemary Buquet Bergeron; Father, Sterling Bergeron, Sr Brothers, Sterling, Jr., Gene and Leland Bergeron. Wayne was a loving and devoted Father and Grandfather who enjoyed the outdoors and sports, especially when played by his Grandchildren. He was the foundation of morals, strength and love for his family and will be sorely missed. God Bless You John Wayne Bergeron, Sr.
