Edna Marie Pellegrin, 61, died Saturday, August 13, 2011 at 1:58 PM. She was a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 1:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Edna Pellegrin is survived by her husband Phillip Pellegrin of Houma LA,mother, Mary Pellegrin of Bourg LA, sons, Michael Pellegrin and Ethan Staley of Houma, brothers, Collins Pellegrin Jr and wife Crystal of Amelia LA,Justilian Pellegrin and wife Susan of Chauvin LA, Ouris Pellegrin and wife Melissa of North Carolina, Adam Pellegrin of Bourg LA, and John Pellegrin and wife Angel of Bourg, sisters, Virginia "Jenny" Pellegrin and husband Ruby of Chuavin,Mary Toups and husband Francis of Chuavin,Marie Pellegrin of Houma, Sadie Trahan and husband Stephen of Houma, and Jeanne Zeringue and husband Gary of Bayou Blue. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Edna Pellegrin is preceded in death by her father, Collins Sr, grandparents, Oris Paul Pellegrin and Marie Eve Pellegrin, Ernest Joseph Benoit and Eve Marie Benoit, godmother, Leola Marie Benoit, and god father, Newman Joseph Benoit. She liked to quilt. She loved her pets. She helped many people and thought of others before herself. She was loved by her entire family and will be greatly miss; but not forgotten.
