Visitation will be held Monday, August 15, 2011 from 9:00am to 1:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 1:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc She is survived by her Sons: Brandon Joe Bourg and G. Peter Bourg Jr. of Houma, Daughters: Cynthia J. Bourg of Houma and Alicia and husband Sammy Verret of Bourg, Step Mother: Judy McCollum of Buford, GA, Brothers: Rodney McCollum and wife Ruth of Pass Christian MS and Joe Curtis McCollum Jr of Loganville, GA, Sister: Sandra K Bean and husband Daniel of Bottineau, ND, and Grandchildren: Johnathan and Dylan Guidry, Brandon, Brendon and Gage Bourg, Jeana' Dehart, Destanie , London and Kyden Verret. She is preceded in death by her Parents: Joe Curtis McCollum and Helen McCollum and Sister Robin Britt. She was an eccentric humanitarian who believed in Honesty and Love. A woman who mastered the art of thought, and rejected arrogance. A woman who loved her children and grandchildren to the point of exhaustion.
