Larry Anthony Arceneaux, , died Monday, July 25, 2011 at 11:00 PM. He was a native of Wallace, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 from 8:30am to 10:30am at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 10:30am at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his, Spouse, Helen Arceneaux of Houma LA; Sons,Brooks Arceneaux and wife Dianna of Gray LA and Andre' Arceneaux and wife Wendy of Woodstock GA; Daughters: Rene' Byers and husband Larry of Sping TX and Michele Thibodeaux and husband Jessie of Thibodaux LA; Brothers: Richard Arceneaux of Mississippi, Thomas Arceneaux of Mandeville LA and Florian "Buddy" Arceneaux of Metairie LA; Sisters: Gloria Lanoix of Donaldsonville LA and Jean Olive of Georgetown TX; Grandchildren: Brandon Arceneaux, Melissa Arceneaux, Sarah Byers, Jared Byers, Jessica Thibodeaux, Evan Thibodeaux, Hunter Arceneaux and Logan Arceneaux; Great Grandchildren: Parker Arceneaux. He was preceded in death by his, Parents, Florian Arceneaux and Josephine Gravois; Brothers: Clarence "C.J." Arceneaux, George Arceneaux and Robert "Bob" Arceneaux. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral . He was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Francis De Sales Cathedral and was involved in the community for the sick and home bound. He was the founder of Rosaries for Nations. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in the Korean War. Larry had a witty sense of humor and a compassionate heart and he touched the lives of many.
