Rita Dubois

Rita Bernard DuBois,a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Thursday, July 14, 2011. Visitation will be from on at and from 9:00 AM until service time on Monday, July 18, 2011 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Interment at Terrebonne Memorial Park. She is survived by sons, Remuis "R.J." DuBois and wife Marian, Hewitte "Paul" DuBois and wife Myrna, daughters, Edna Mae Freeman and husband Eldon, Carroll Jane Evans and husband Hulett, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great great granchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Davis DuBois, parents, Edmond Bernard and Laramita Hebert Bernard, brother, Thaddeus Bernard, daughter in law, Helen DuBois, great grandchild, Jamie DuBois. She was a member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She retired with Sears. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to bake and travel. The family would like to thank Mrs. Rita's caregivers, Monica Guidry, Veronica Pearson, Melanie Kay and Mary Rhodes and also Terrebonne Homecare and Journey Hospice.
