Marie Eschete

Marie Agnes Eschete, 82 years old, died Monday, July 11, 2011. She was a native of Houma, and resident of Chauvin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.and Wednesday, July 13, 2011 from 9:00am to 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Dudley Joseph Eschete 3 Sons: Allen Eschete and wife Johnny Belinda Buquet of Chauvin, Wayne Eschete and wife Patsy Derrington of Bourg, and Donald Eschete and wife Janice Voisin of Houma 4 Daughters: Charlene and husband Jerry Ryman of Houma, Sandra and husband Kurt Lirette of Chauvin, Barbara and husband Lynn Firmature of Houma, Mary and husband Leslie Lapeyrouse of Chauvin; 1 Sister: Theresa Blanchard of Chauvin 19 Grandchildren 26 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her, Parents: Harry and Agnes Bergeron; Grandparents:John Lesin Martin and Annette Portier and Darbigny "Bing" Domangue and one infant son. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a devoted Eucharistic Minister for the sick of St Joseph Catholic Church. She was a religion teacher and french teacher. She was a member of the Ladies Altar Society at St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grand mother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
