Margaret Ann Peterson Moorman Wyble, 68, a native of Athens and resident of Houma, died at 7:30 AM on July 3, 2011. A Memorial service will be held at Mulberry Baptist Church, Houma, at 11:00 AM Friday July 8. Pastor Steve Graves will officiate. She is survived by her husband, Francis H. Wyble, daughter Monique Michelle Moorman Foti and husband Ryan Foti of St. Martinville, son Robert Michael Moorman and wife Crystal of Indian Trails, N.C., her mother Margaret Jho Peterson of Homer, sister Betty Frye and husband Billy of Homer, and sister Linda Peterson of Homer, grandchildren Evan Eschete, Bobby Moorman, Juliet Moorman, Dominic Foti, Brooklyn Moorman, Eli Moorman, Mason Moorman, niece Ashleigh Frye Synco of Homer, and a great niece and nephew. She was also survived by step children Donna, Greg, and Paul Wyble and Joan Wyble Herpin: step grandchildren Jade Maddie, Mallory, Stephanie, Anna, and Ethan Wyble, and Victoria, Cain and Andrew Herpin. She was a graduate of Louisiana Tech, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Education in 1965. Margaret taught at Houma Junior High, H. L. Bourgeois, Legion Park, and Evergreen. She was preceded in death by her father Sydney (Bo) Peterson, maternal grandparents Joe Richard Harmon and Nobie Cowser Harmon, paternal grandparents John Peterson and Georgia Prince Peterson. Margaret was a member of the LRTA, TRTA, and a carcinoid cancer support group. The family extends a special thank you to Paramount Hospice and especially to caregivers Linda Martin, Tameka Boutte and Mary Estes. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude's children's Hospital.
