Suzanne Porche

Suzanne Tregre Porche, a native of Central, Louisiana and a resident of Houma, died at 12:15 AM on July 3, 2011. She was 96 years of age. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 11:30 AM until service time at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 PM, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No.2 She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Diane) Landry of Napoleonville and Suzanne Monaghan of Houma; a daughter-in-law Patricia J. Monaghan of Houma; three sisters Mrs. Bert (Ann) Redmond of Bourg, Mrs. Henry (Joyce) Breaux of Houma and Mrs. Walter (Ethel) Daigle of Labadieville, LA, eight grandchildren; David Landry, Desiree Clark, Denise Mitchell, Dolly Landry, Robert Monaghan, Patti Tilbury, Jodi Louviere and Lori Thibodaux; 16 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felicien J. Tregre and Marguerite Boudreaux Tregre, first husband, David C. Monaghan and second husband, Claude E. Porche, a son, Robert “Bobby” Monaghan, a brother, Woodrow Tregre and four sisters, Lucy Tregre, Gladys LeBoeuf, Isabel Buck and Sadie Lirette. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Cardinal Gibbons #177 of Houma. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
