Joy Katherine Dillard, 82, a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Visitation will be from on at and from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday, July 1, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. She is survived by sister, Bobbie Dillard Aucoin, nieces and nephews, Michael Aucoin, Katherine Utley, David Aucoin, Denise Cunningham, Joy Guilbeau, Heidi Kerley, Mary Lee Smith, Lee Dillard, Ann Dillard, Hope Dillard and Brandi Sharp. She was preceded in death by parents, Lee Dillard and Ezelle Wallace Dillard, brothers, Lee Dillard, Henry "Jack" Dillard, Warren Dillard, sister, Ezelle Dillard.. She was a school teacher for the Terrebonne Parish School Board and many places abroad.
