Ambrose Louis Chaisson . 87, was born January 1, 1924 in Chacbay, to Raoul Chaisson and Leah Legendre a trapper and fisherman and he moved to Houma in his early years. At the age of 17 he went into the Army and was on a landing barge in the pacific during World War II. When he came out of the army he married Dolores Scott . Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 9:00AM until service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his, Wife of 65 years: Delores Marie Scott of Houma, LA Sons: Vincent "Coco" Chaisson and wife Vera of Houma, LA Danny Chaisson and wife Cheryl of Dulac, LA Daughers: Charlene Giroir and husband Rickey of Houma, LA Brothers: Joseph Chaisson and wife Juanita of Houma, LA Terry Chaisson and wife Lois of Houma, LA Thaddeus Chaisson and wife Wilma “Sis” of Houma, LA Sisters: Corine Rodrigue of Houma, LA Angeline Domangue of Houma, LA 7 Grandchildren: Angie Giroir Falgout, Nicole Giroir Nettleton, Carl, Buddy, Kevin and Teddy Chaisson and Misty Chaisson Page 6 Great Grandchildren: Whitney and Chandler Falgout Brylynn and Brenlee Chaisson and Natalie and Makenna Page He was preceded in death by his, Parents: Raoul and Leah Legendre Chaisson Sister: Mary Poincot He was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was the Owner of Chaisson’s Grocery and Supply in Dulac, LA and former owner of Bayou Restaurant in Dulac, LA. He was a member of the VFW and Knights of Columbus. He was a Veteran of the U.S.Army.
