Ambrose Chaisson

Ambrose Louis Chaisson . 87, was born January 1, 1924 in Chacbay, to Raoul Chaisson and Leah Legendre a trapper and fisherman and he moved to Houma in his early years. At the age of 17 he went into the Army and was on a landing barge in the pacific during World War II. When he came out of the army he married Dolores Scott . Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 9:00AM until service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. He was the Owner of Chaisson’s Grocery and Supply in Dulac, LA and former owner of Bayou Restaurant in Dulac, LA. He was a member of the VFW and Knights of Columbus. He was a Veteran of the U.S.Army.
