Laban Anthony Robichaux, Sr., 84, a native of Houma, LA and resident of Schriever, LA died Thursday, May 26, 2011. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and from 8:00am to 10:00am on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 10:00am with Burial at St. Elie Cemetery. He is survived by Sons: Ronnie Robichaux and companion Brenda Verret of Chauvin LA; Kirk Robichaux and wife Janet of Houma LA and Laban A. Robichaux Jr. of Stateline, Mississippi; Daughters: Jeanne Dupre and husband Dave of Houma LA; Veronica McLemore and husband James of Laurel Mississippi and Susette Vetter of Schriever LA; Sisters: Ethel Pekinto of Mississippi, Betty Robichaux of CA, Shirley Pittman of Marrero LA and Mary Jane Esteve of Alabama; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Robichaux; Parents, Magnus and Jeanne Robichaux; Brothers: Elward Robichaux and Magnus Robichaux; Sister:Jeanette Holden He was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. He was retired from Terrebonne Parish Con. Government.
