Edward Alfred Duet, Jr, 61, a native of Thibodaux, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Monday, May 2, 2011. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and from 9:00 AM until Service time on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Interment at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery. He is survived by Wife of 38 years: Amy "Darlene" Voisin Duet; Daughter: Lena Marie Duet Burgess and husband James Gregory Burgess; Son: Jason Edward Duet and wife to be Danielle Olivier; Grandchildren: Michael Trahan, Hannah Burgess and Emily Burgess; Siblings: Faye Fonseca, Percy Duet, Bob Duet, Francis Duet, Bridget Voisin, Earl Duet, Clifford Duet, Russell Duet, Amelia Chauvin, Ethel Kramer and Donald Duet. He was preceded in death by Parents: Edward Alfred Duet, Sr and Gustavia Bergeron Duet; Sister: Earline Duet; Brother-in-law: Allen "Nu-Nu" Fonseca. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
