Michel Nicholas Dardar, 82, a native and resident of Isle de Jean Charles, LA died Thursday, April 28, 2011.
Visitation will be Friday, April 29, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and
Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
Services will be Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with burial in Bisland Cemetery.
He was a loving father to Mildred Naquin and husband Al, Mary Payton and husband Perry, Cheryl Boquet and husband Joseph and Thomas Dardar and wife Rebecca.
A loving grandfather to Niki Smith, Al "Mikey" Naquin, Alexis Naquin, Seumr Thomas, Eric "Bud" Naquin, Devin Fitch, Jessica Molinere, Nicholas Payton, Kevin Fitch, Angelica LeBoeuf, Macy Boquet, Daniel Payton, Joey Boquet, Jena Dardar, Melissa Payton, Gabe Dardar and Alex Dardar.
A loving great-grandfather to Coby Molinere, Emma Smith, Josie Thomas, Briley Naquin, Lillian Smith, Bracken Thomas, Abby Gaudet, Dawsen Molinere, Blaikley Naquin and Carson LeBoeuf.
A loving brother to Rita Falgout.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife Emma Naquin Dardar. His parents Thomas and Eve Naquin Dardar, four brothers Henry, Augustine, Vincent and Etienne Dardar and two sisters Jeanne Billiot and Alexine Dardar.
He was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo, Pointe-Aux-Chenes, where he served many years as an extraordinary Minister, Lector and Commentator. He was a veteran of the Korean War, with the U.S. Army who saw active duty. A member of KC Council 8616, the Cursillo Movement, the American Legion Post 272, VFW and St. Charles the Roch Kateri Circle.
He loved being home with his family.
