Marjorie Lynne Mathes, 69, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Visitation will be Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 10:00AM until service time at Victory Christian Center. Services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 11:00AM at Victory Christian Center with the family having a private burial at a later date. Survived by: Sons: Charles Edkins of Houma LA; Step-Daughters: Amber Edkins DeGeorge and husband Wayne of Howey in the Hills FL.; Penny Edkins Adams and husband Steven of Houma LA; Friend: Barabara Fanguy of Houma LA and 6 Grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Parents: Ralph Mathes and Martha Reese Mathes She was a member of Victory Christian Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Victory Christian Center in Houma LA. Donations may also be contributed to The Heart Fund or The Arthritis Foundation.
