Lawrence Paul Billiot, Sr., 77, a native of Houma,LA and a resident of Theriot, LA died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 12:15 PM.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.
Friday, April 29, 2011 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Eloi Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 29, 2011 at 11:00 AM
at St. Eloi Catholic Church with burial in St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery.

Wife of 58 years: Rita Gregoire Billiot, Theriot, LA;
Sons: Nolan Aycock,Sr and wife Linda of Houma and Darren Billiot, Sr and wife Becky of Houma;
Daughters: Felecie "Susie" Solet, Mary "Peanut" Billiot and husband Eugene of Dularge, Elisa Triche of Dularge and Darlene Guidry and husband Jessie, Sr of Dularge;
Brothers: Ernest "Tiff" Billiot, Randolph Billiot and Roy Billiot;
Sisters: Dorissa Billiot, Mary Porche, Roselia Naquin, Mary Mudd and Edianna Billiot; 16 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.

Parents: Victor Pierre Billiot and Mary Louise Billiot Billiot;
Sons: Lawrence Billiot, Jr and Michael Billiot;

He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
Lawrence worked as a seismographer with GSI and was part owner of Southland Seismograph. He was also a commercial fisherman. He was a loving husband and father who loved to tell jokes to make his family and friends laugh.
