Brent Anthony Babin

Brent Anthony Babin, 55, a native of Brunswick, Maine, and resident of Houma, died at 11:35 a.m. Sunday, May 13, 2007. Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at First United Methodist Church. Religious service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Lucille Billiot Babin of Houma; his parents, Lester Babin and Audrey Pontiff Babin of Houma; two sons, Jason Babin and wife, Tammy, and Shawn Babin of Houma; one brother, Chad Babin and wife, Sherry, of Houma; two sisters, Holly Babin Daquana and husband, Joseph, and Wendy Babin of Houma; one grandchild, Sabrina Babin; and four step-grandchildren, Wanda Jefferson, J.J. Jefferson, Alexandria Jefferson and Vanessa Jefferson. He was a shop hand with Pelician Rentals and a member of First United Methodist Church.
