Antoine Joseph Dardar, 87, a native of Pointe-Aux-Chenes, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and from 9:00am to 11:00am on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 11:00am with Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by Sons: Perry Dardar and wife Lena of Houma LA; Willis Darar of Houma LA Joseph Dardar and wife Frances of Houma LA; Jerry Dardar and wife Gail of Houma LA; Michael Dardar and wife Jamie of Houma LA; and Tommy Dardar and wife Penny of Houma LA; Daughters: Brenda Billiot and husband Earl of Pointe-Aux-Chenes LA; Theresa Dardar and husband Donald of Pointe-Aux-Chenes LA Terry LeBlanc and husband Ronald of Houma LA; Brothers: Thomas Dardar of Bayou Black LA; and Earl Naquin of Dulac LA Sisters: Marie Ledet of Houma LA; Gloria Crochet of Dulac LA; Lillian Pierre of Dulac LA; and Aline Bergeron of Houma LA; Grandchildren: 31 Great grandchildren: 55 Great great grandchildren: 7. He was preceded in death by Spouse: Josephine Celina Dardar; Parents: Rosalie Celina Dardar and Joseph Naquin; Brothers: Simon Naquin, Jack Hendon,Constance Hendon, Elie Hendon, Adam Dardar and Ernest Dardar; Sisters: Emelda Streetman and Mary Naquin He was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Member of the Band of Biloxi, Chitimacha-Choctaw, and Isle of Jean Charles.
