Lucy Dias

Lucy Landry Dias, 89, a native of Labadieville, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and from 9:00 AM until service time at on Friday, April 8, 2011 at St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by daughters, Joann Dias LeBlanc and husband Ronnie, Sulphur, LA, Paula Dias Swindel and husband George, Houma, LA, grandchildren, Adam Paul LeBlanc, Erik James LeBlanc, Emily Catherine Bowie and Catherine Cecelia Swindel, brother in law, Roland B. Dias, sister in law, Louisanne Landry. She was preceded in death by husband, Eston J. Dias parents, Ernest Landry and Onelia Bollotte Landry, brothers, Everette Landry and Jessie Landry.She was a member of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was a sales clerk at Shainberg's Department store for a number of years. She was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Bernadette. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Veterans of Foriegn Wars.
