Hazel Valerie Samanie Darcey, 84, a native of Bayou Blue, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Monday, April 4, 2011. Visitation will be from on at and from 9:00 AM until Service time on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Interment at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by Son: Glenn Darcey and wife Sandy of Bayou Blue Daughters: Janice Daigle and husband Randy of Thibodaux, Ann Eschete and husband Carl, Judith Seale and husband Rob of Houma, Gale Blanchard and husband Ronald of Raceland, Enola Nussmeyer and husband Steve of St. Joseph, IL Sisters: Gloria Naquin, Evadence Boudreaux, and Oris Maronge Grandchildren: 21 Great Grandchildren: 31 Great Great Grandchild: 2. She was preceded in death by Husband: Colden Adolphe Darcey Parents: Adney Paul Samanie and and Ernestine Valerie Hebert Samanie Great Great Grandson: Deantae Colden Rines Brothers: Norris Samanie, Alton Samanie, and Enest "Fatso" Samanie Sisters: Myrtle Ledet, Bridgette Babin, Mildred LeBlanc, and Lena Daigle. She was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.
