Myrtile "MJ" Joseph Samaha, 84, a native of Napoleonville, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, March 23, 2011.
Visitation will be from on at and from 9:00 AM until Service time on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Maria Immaculata Catholic Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 12:00 PM with Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
He is survived by Wife: Mary Beth Ortego Samaha

4 Daughters: Christine Robinson and husband Don, Cathy Degruise and husband Stan, Susan Davis and husband Roger, Amy Walker and husband Jay

He was preceded in death by Parents: Narcisse Tanoos Samaha and Eurine Kern Samaha
Sisters: Gertrude Dumez, Josie Domangue and Irene Bourg
Brothers: Michell, Sidney, Aldon and Charles Samaha.
He was a member of Maria Immaculata Catholic Church.
M.J. retired from Shell Oil Company after 38 years and served in the US Navy during World War II. He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. M.J. was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3700 and volunteered at the Regional Military Museum in Houma.
His hobbies were fishing, golf and dancing. He was most passionate about his family. He will be dearly missed by friends and family.
