Theresa Authement

Theresa Marjorie Begue Authement, 81 a native and resident of Houma, died at 9:45 am Tuesday, March 22, 2011. Visitation will be from 9:00 am till funeral time Thursday, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church with burial in St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery. She is survived by one son, Glen “Odee” Authement and wife, Joycelyn of Houma, one daughter, Loretta Dugas and husband, Louis of Youngsville; six grandchildren, Heather Hebert, Lynn Ann Authement, Roy Authement, Jean Paul Stafford, Shane Dugas and Brady Dugas and eight great-grandchildren, survived by one sister,Joyce Dupont of Houma and two brothers Harold Begue and Wayne Domangue of Houma. She was preceded in death by her husband Allen “Monk” Authement, one daughter Mary Ann, and one son, John Allen, her parents, Lionel Sr. and Ora Vega Begue; one brother, Lionel Begue, Jr. two sisters, Marguerite Domangue and Edith Begue Richard. She was a homemaker, devoted Catholic, enjoyed sewing, floral arranging and loved her grandchildren dearly. Special thanks to Journey Hospice Team especially Mrs. Eileen Collins and Ms. Nettie.
