Viola Trahan Guidry Carrere, 88, a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA and a resident of Chauvin, LA died Monday, March 14, 2011 at 7:15 PM. Visitation will be Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church ith burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. Survived by: sons, Larry Guidry and wife Joan, Houma, LA, Harris Guidry and wife Merline, Chauvin, LA, Vernon Carrere and wife Sheri, Houma, LA and Eric Carrere and wife Christie, Houma, LA, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren, brother, Buck Trahan, sisters, Wilda Farkas and Wilma Domangue. Preceded in death by: first husband, Redel Guidry, second husband, Stelay Carrere parents, Alex Trahan and Louise Gautreaux Trahan, sons, Redel Guidry, Sr. and Errol Carrere, grandchildren, Dwayne Guidry and Redel, “T-Neg” Guidry, Jr., great grandson, Theodore Blanchard brothers, Willie Trahan, Louis "Beb" Trahan, Horace "Gro" Trahan and Alex "Prun" Trahan, Jr. and sister, Rose Martin. She was a homemaker. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church
