Robert "Bob" Charles Moore, 72, a native of Rayville and resident of Houma, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at Mulberry Baptist Church. Religious service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Marilyn Bourg Moore of Houma; four daughters, Sydney Toups and husband, Glenn, Katherine Prejean of Huntsville, Ala., Patricia Daigle and Sarah Daigle and husband, Tommy, of Lafayette; one sister, Carolyn Sanford of Rayville; one aunt, Juanita Johnson of Rayville; eight grandchildren, Brad Voclain, Brandon Prejean, Laura Prejean, Liz Daigle, Erin Daigle, Ethan Daigle, Jeanne Daigle and Chris Toups; and two great-grandchildren, Noah Blake and Brad Roland Voclain III.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Moore and Cassie Ross Moore.
He was a retired co-owner/operator of Southland Rentals and a member of Mulberry Baptist Church.
He was a Mason and a member of the Shriners.
