Floyd Anthony Trahan, 75, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gibson, LA died Friday, March 4, 2011. Visitation will be Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Service s will be Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Survived by: wife, Carolyn Humberson Trahan, sons, Mark A Trahan and wife Juanita Austin Trahan, Jamie P. Trahan and companion Tara Pitre, daughters, Vanessa Trahan and companion Raymond Ledet, Tina Trahan, Toni Trahan Bourgeois and husband Ronald Bourgeois, Robin Trahan Thibodeaux and husband Craig Thibodeaux, Kim M. Trahan and companion Jimmy Chaisson, grandchildren, Kyle and Kasey Trahan, Phillip and Tyler Trahan, Chassie Hebert, Nicholas and Nichole Bourgeois, Christine Thibodeaux, Jade Trahan and Destiny Hyde, step grandchildren, Rachel, Katelyn and Hannah Ledet great grandchildren, Paige, Payton, Jameson, Jaxon and Averie Trahan, Kaden Bourgeois, Trae Use', Tacota Thibodeaux and Jordan Thibodeaux, step great grandchild, Miley Trahan. Preceded in death by: parents, Gilbert Joseph Trahan and Uraine Antill Trahan brother, Albert "NeeNie" Trahan grandchildren, Randy Trahan and Natasha Thibodeaux. He was a Sergeant with the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office and Ward 9 Constable. He was a parishiner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was a Sergeant First Class in the Army national Guard. He was a member of the Bayou Black Fire Department, Fire Chief's Association and the Louisiana Sheriff's Association.
