Anita Bergeron Laperouse, 96, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 8:00 AM. Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 9:30 AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. Survived by: Daughters: Anita Laperouse Pearson and husband Edward Byron,Mary Beth Laperouse Vicari and husband Guy and Donna Laperouse Ortego and husband Rick; Son: Edward Jude Laperouse and wife Susan Dill Laperouse; 10 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; and 4 Great great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by: Husband:Edward Joseph Laperouse Parents: Theophile Desire Bergeron Marie Aspasie Chauvin Bergeron. She was parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
