Linda Duplantis

Linda Hodges Duplantis, 64, A native of Cleveland, Ohio and a resident of Houma, LA went home to be with the Lord at 8:27 PM on Saturday, February 26, 2011. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday March 2, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. She is survived by one son, Jeff Hodges of Magnolia, TX; Two daughters, Stacey Hodges Ledet and Wendy Hodges Robichaux both of Houma; one sister, Cheryl Constant of Birmingham, Alabama and one brother Elmer Nunn, II of Houston, TX; 5 Grandchildren, Nicholas and Chloe Ledet; Lilly and Cade Robichaux and Callie Hodges She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of almost 24 years Richard Hodges; her parents, Elmer and Evelyn Nunn and one brother, Timothy Nunn She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She loved Jesus with her whole heart! Linda never met a stranger and won many souls for the Lord. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. The family would like to thank the staff of Maison Deville Nursing Home and Haydel Memorial Hospice.
