Donald Alcide Breaux, 92, a native and resident of Houma, died at 12 a.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Andras Breaux of Houma; one son, Donald J. Breaux and wife, Karen; one daughter, Carolyn Ledet and husband, Roland; three brothers, Howard Breaux and wife, Jeanette, Francis Breaux and wife, Connie, and Harold Breaux; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcide Breaux and Dorothy Webb Breaux; one daughter, Mary Ann Breaux; three brothers, Rufus, Murphy and Nelson Breaux; and three sisters, Dorothy Hebert, Ruth Hotard and Wildred Legendre.
He was a retired operator with Schumberger with 32 years of service and a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
