Jeffrey Louis Hermann, a native and resident of Houma, died Sunday. He was 28.
A graduate of Terrebonne High School in 2001, Jeffrey was employed by Global X-ray as an offshore x-ray technician.
He had a loving spirit and was a generous soul and will be sadly missed by family and friends.
A wake is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 15, from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until commencement of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at Maria Immacolata Catholic Church. Burial will follow the church service in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
He is survived by his father, Jerry L. Hermann; his mother, Cathy A. Marcel; two brothers, Matthew T. Hermann and Trent J. Hermann; two sisters, Jessica L. Hermann and Shea M. Hermann; his maternal grandmother, Lydia Champagne and, her husband, his ‘paw-paw’, Joe Champagne; and his loving step-mom, Shannon Gaidry.
He is also survived by uncles Steve, David and Rick Marcel; aunts Amy St. Martin and Debra Champagne; aunts Virginia Rome and Nancy Champagne; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert E. and Virgie M. Hermann; his grandfather, Alley Marcel; and his aunt, Linda Marcel LeBlanc.
