Clothilde Aucoin Johnston, 92 died Monday, February 14, 2011 at 1:48 AM. She was a native of Thibodaux, LA and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 8:00 AM until service time at St.Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian will be on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church with burial following at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her daughter, Jean Helen Johnston, Houma, LA She is preceded in death by her husband, John L. Johnston, parents, Philip Joseph Aucoin and Adele Esteve Aucoin, brother, Sidney Joseph Aucoin, sisters, Jeanne Aucoin Landry, Julie Aucoin Adams, Annette Aucoin Bussie and Odette Aucoin. She retired as a sales clerk from Franklin Dress Shop. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church and belonged to the Foundation for Christian Living and the AARP. She was an extremely out going person and had a great love of people. She never met anyone she didn’t like and treated everyone with the same love and kindness. She was a very religious woman and God was very important to her.
