Virginia Kellogg

Virginia Marie Kellogg, a native of Houma and a resident of Henderson, Nev., died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011 after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be Friday, February 11, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., and Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Mass will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church. Burial will be at St. Ann Catholic Cemetery. She is survived by three daughters, Jackie Powell and husband, Dee, of Milam, Texas, Lori Petit of Henderson, Nev., and Stephanie DeCorte and husband, Philip, of Houston; one sister, Juanita Mendoza of Marrero; one brother, Leon “Buddy” Hebert of Destrahan; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lennon Kellogg; her parents, Lorraine Hebert and Leon Lombard Hebert of New Orleans; three sisters, Penny Byrnes of Chicago, Daisy Husereaux of Pass Christian, Miss., and Jeanette Roy of Chalmette; and two brothers, Charles Hebert and Larry Hebert, both of New Orleans.
