Ricky Pellegrin

Ricky John Pellegrin, 53, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Bourg, LA died February 4, 2011. Visitation will be Monday, February 7, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home and Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home. A Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 1:00 PM at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Houma, LA; with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery, Houma, LA. Survived by: Wife: Caffie Thibodeaux Pellegrin; Daughter: Lani Pellegrin and companion Douglas Walling, Jr.; Sons: Joshua Pellegrin and Taylor Pellegrin; Grandchildren: Jayce Pellegrin, Hailey Pellegrin and Landyn Pellegrin; Sisters: Dianna Gail Dutton and husband Roy of Houma, LA; Yvonne Tregre and husband Woody of Houma, LA; Brothers: Bruce “Beauty” Pellegrin, Jr., and wife Sandra of Bourg, LA; and Brian Pellegrin and wife Sonja of Houma, LA. Preceded in death by: Parents: Bruce J. Pellegrin, Sr., and Wilma Duplantis Pellegrin; Grandparents: Clarence J. Duplantis, Sr. and Evelina Luke Duplantis, Levis P. Pellegrin, Sr., and Edna Boudreaux Pellegrin and Nephew: Roy Patrick Dutton. He was employed by North American Fabricator as a carpentry supervisor. He was an avid woodworker. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma. The family would like to give a special thanks to the CCU Nursing Staff,Especially, James, Danielle, Roberta, Shelly, Jean, Ryan, Kelly and all others who showed so much compassion in his time of need. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
