Kenny Alvin Jernigan, Sr., 40, a native of Marrero, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 8:00 AM. Visitation will be Monday, February 7, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, February 8, 2011 from 9:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Service s will be Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. Survived by: wife, Patty Campbell Jernigan, Houma, LA; sons, Kenny Alvin Jernigan, Jr.,and Logan Tommy Jernigan; daughter, Jamie Lynn Jernigan mother, Willadean Parrish Jernigan brothers, Thomas "Peanut" Ronald Jernigan, Jr. and wife Etta Bowman Jernigan, Rex Allen Jernigan, Donald Joe Jernigan and wife Corie Lirette Jernigan, Johnny Ray Jernigan and wife Jane Guilliot Jernigan, Rusty Lamar Jernigan, numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by: father, Thomas Ronald Jernigan, Sr. and nephew, Brandon Paul Jernigan. He loved to fish and hunt and paint and fix cars. He was a loving husband and father and will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
