James Lucien Lovell Jr., 62, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Schriever, LA died Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 9:00 PM. Visitation Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Service will be Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in Francis de Sales Cemetery #1. Survived by: Spouse: Carolyn Rouen Lovell, Gray, LA; Daughters: Michelle Marie Lovell of Thibodaux LA; Melinda Ann Falgout and husband Cheyenne of Thibodaux LA; and Melissa Lynn Bascle of Thibodaux LA; Brothers: Clayton Ernest Lovell and wife Katherine of Houma LA and Paul Breaux Lovell and wife Ann Lovell of Baton Rouge LA; Granddaughter: Addison Marie Falgout; Step Grandson: Marcus Bascle. Preceded in death by: Parents: James Lucien Lovell Sr. and Elizabeth Breaux Lovell; He was a loving father and grandfather. He was past president of the Houma Lions Club and active in the eye foundation and helping the St. Louis Infant Center. He was an Offshore Communications Technician. He loved t paind and fish and loved to laugh and make jokes. He enjoyed meeting and talking with new people. He will be sadly missed by both family and friends.
