Albert Joseph Delaune, Jr., 68, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 9:08 AM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 9:00 AM until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial following at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He was survived by his Beloved wife of 46 years, Marjorie Buquet Delaune, Houma, LA, daughters, Amy Delaune Schmidt and fiance' Charles Lamarche, Mandeville, LA, Stacy Delaune Linden and husband William, Luling, LA, one granddaughter, Jamie Elizabeth Schmidt, two sisters, Sandra Rhodes and Nancy Mann. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert B. Delaune and Laura S. Delaune, twin brother, Alvin B. Delaune, Sr. and sister, Anita Delaune Brown. He retired as a salesman from the Oil industry and was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church.
