Gladys Boudreaux Deroche, 83, a native of Algiers, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 8:27 PM. Visitation will be Monday, January 31, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:30pm Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 9:00am Mass Time at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by: Sons: David Deroche and wife Elaine of Houma LA and Steven Deroche and wife Patricia of Houma LA; Daughters: Roxana Deroche LeBouef and husband Noel of Houma, LA and Gwen Davis of Houma LA; Step Brother: Howard Boudreaux Jr of Houma LA and Gil Boudreaux of Houma LA; Step Sisters: Olive Flanagan of Houma LA and Cindy Boudreaux Hebert of Houma LA; 8 Grandchildren, Stacy Davis Dufour, Christopher LeBoeuf, Natasha Deroche, Mary Pellegrin, Milton Deroche, Justin Deroche, James Deroche and Sheldon Deroche; 6 Great Grandchildren: Seth Pellegrin, Hunter Pellegrin, Andrew Dufour, Ashley Dufour, Gavin Deroche and Bradon Deroche. Preceded in death by: Spouse: Milton Joseph Deroche; Parents:Howard Joseph Boudreaux and Felicie Bourgeois Boudreaux; Son: Larry Deroche; Daughter: Tana Deroche; Brothers: Wester Boudreaux and Harold Boudreaux. She was employed with Terrebonne General Medical Center. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. She was past president, life time member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary #3700 and Cancer Aid and Research chairman for many years. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to The American Cancer Association or Saint Jude.
