Joseph Anthony Babin, Jr., 62, a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Monday, January 17, 2011. Visitation will be from on at and from 9:00 AM until service time on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at St. Louis Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 11:00 AM with Burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by Wife of 43 years: Karen Ann Boudlouche Babin Mother: Marceline Detiveaux Babin Son: Joseph Anthony Babin, III and wife Caitlin L. of Pleasant View, TN Daughters: Bonnie Ann and husband Anthony Rodriguez, III of Gray, LA, Cheryl Marie and husband Robbie Duplantis of Frisco, TX Grandchildren: Jonathan Babin, Keith Alario, Alyssa Duplantis and Sebastian Duplantis Brothers: Lonny James Babin and wife Jennifer Bourg Babin of Bourg, LA, and Jason Saul Babin of Houma, LA Sister: Ena Marie and husband Fred Carreras, Jr of Thibodaux, LA. He was preceded in death by Father: Joseph Anthony Babin, Sr Infant Sister: Valerie Agnes Fraternal Grandparents: Berwick J. Babin and Ophelia B. Babin Maternal Grandparents: Henry C. Detiveaux and Alice R. Detiveaux. Joseph was a brother of Boyce Masonic Lodge #273, The Unity Lodge #267 and Jerusalem Temple. He was a member of Houma Shrine Club and the Houma Shrine Motorcycle Escort Club.
